Editorial Policy and Publishing Standards

Editorial Policies

Asya Publishing adheres to the guidelines and recommendations issued by international organizations such as the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), Council of Science Editors (CSE), European Association of Science Editors (EASE), and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) throughout all stages of its publication processes.

Manuscripts submitted to Asya Publishing are evaluated by independent and impartial reviewers.

The primary objective of the journals under Asya Publishing is to publish and index clinical, experimental, and basic science studies of international quality.

Advertising Policy

The financial expenses of the journals are covered by the resources of the respective institutions.

Generally, commercial advertisements are not published on the journals’ websites, except under exceptional circumstances.

Conflict of Interest

All authors must declare potential conflicts of interest by completing forms provided by the ICMJE or the respective journal. These declarations are disclosed at the end of each article. If an undisclosed conflict of interest is identified, the editorial board may request further explanation from the authors.

Corrections

Errors detected in published articles may require corrections via an erratum. Since articles are accessible and may receive citations immediately upon publication, any subsequent changes could impact individuals who have already read or cited the original version.

Editorial Notice

If significant doubts arise regarding the accuracy or integrity of a submitted or published article, it is the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief to ensure that the matter is appropriately addressed by the institution affiliated with the authors. The Editor-in-Chief is not typically responsible for conducting investigations or making determinations but should be promptly informed of decisions made by the affiliated institution. In cases of suspected fraudulent content, the Editor-in-Chief may choose to issue an "Editorial Notice" regarding the integrity or conduct of the study.

Retraction of Articles

Articles may be retracted in cases of professional ethics violations, such as multiple submissions, false authorship claims, plagiarism, or fraudulent data usage. In rare instances, retraction may also occur to correct errors in the submission or publication process. Retractions are commonly initiated by the authors, editors, or upon recommendations from members of the scientific community.

Article Revision

If an article poses a significant health risk, the authors of the original article may withdraw the incorrect version and replace it with a revised one. In such cases, the retraction process is followed, and a retraction notice in the database will include links to the corrected and reissued version along with the article's publication history.

Human and Animal Rights

All studies must comply with international human and animal rights laws as well as the Helsinki Declaration. It is mandatory to obtain and present an ethics committee approval for such studies.

ICMJE

Asya Publishing adheres to the ICMJE Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals and specifies this commitment in the information pages for authors in its journals.

Editors, authors, and reviewers are informed of the importance of these guidelines, ensuring that all publications conform to the prescribed standards.
